This handmade paper from Japan is 100% sulphite, with a neutral pH, 4 deckle edges, and is very strong. The Hosho “student” quality has a bit more texture than the Hosho “professional” quality which is noticeably smoother with a less fibrous feel. Ideal for etching, hang lithography, and woodblock printing. Artists have also found this paper to work well as backing and hinging during the framing process. Paper comes white. Sheet measures 16″ x 20″ and is 64lb weight.
