Draw downs are compared and formulas are altered to ensure that our customers receive the best oil color at the best price. Grumbacher Pre-tested Professional Oil Paint, Naples Yellow Hue, is made with pure pigments milled in alkali-refined linseed oil. Naples Yellow Hue is a soft yellow with a peachy bias. This oil paint is an extremely old color dating into 16th century BC, and was a favorite among the Old Masters. Naples Yellow Hue is traditionally used in landscape where a receding yellow is required and is also incorporated in flesh tones.
