Grumbacher Pre-tested Professional Oil Paint, Pale Pink, is made with pure pigments milled in alkali-refined linseed oil. Pale Pink is a blend of modern pigments and White. This oil paint’s color replicates the tints of Flesh Ochre that was used in European Portraiture from the earliest times. This oil paint’s Pink masstone with a Blue undertone betrays its German origins. Today, Pale Pink’s color is still an excellent medium for portrait painting and can be used as a ground for fair skin, or as a highlight for darker skin.
