Grumbacher Pre-tested Professional Oil Paint, Cobalt Blue, is made with pure pigments milled in alkali-refined linseed oil. Cobalt Blue is a transparent Bright Blue with a greenish undertone and excellent tinting strength. This oil paint was introduced in the 1820’s and has become the great workhorse of modern painting. Cobalt Blue is ideal for landscape and seascape painting.
